CO2 Bucket 10L
The CO2 Bucket is a 100% natural CO2 supplement that’s comprised of wood, wood fibres, chips, straw and hay. These raw materials, when exposed to the right conditions, start to ferment and steadily release, usable, CO2 into your grow room.
The problem with other supplements is that, once triggered, constantly release CO2, even during lights out (unless its manually removed from the grow room), as during the night time phase, plants don’t require additional levels of carbon dioxide, they actually need fresh oxygen, basically the opposite to when lights are on.
This is where the CO2 Bucket has an advantage, firstly, its controlled by an air pump, ideally, this should be connected to a timer, either the same one that controls your lights switching on/off, or a separate timer set to the same on/off times as the lights. The CO2 Bucket also needs to be above 20C to become active, a temperature your environment should be at during lights on, and will steadily release additional CO2 into your grow room.
Basically with the CO2 Bucket, you, the grower control when additional CO2 is supplemented into the grow room, the container should also be stored in the grow environment, preferably as high as possible as CO2 is heavier than air and away from any extraction fans as you don’t want any of CO2 being released going straight out via the extraction, while the air hose should be positioned around the top of the canopy. A clip-on or oscillating fan can also be used to help move the CO2 around the environment.
