Easy Start RQS

RQS Easy Start No matter how green your thumb is, you will get great results with the Easy Start seed germination kit. Easy Start includes a tray with 20 pre-filled seedling pots and Bacto microorganisms that activate seeds for better germination rates.

Easy Start: to give your cannabis seeds the best start

The Easy Start seed germination kit is a safe, organic way to ensure successful germination. It is designed to help growers of all experience levels achieve the best results from the start of their growing season.

The Easy Start germination kit includes a growing tray with 20 individual pots pre-filled with soil and a packet of special Bacto seed-activating bacteria. These beneficial bacteria will help your seeds come to life as the germination process begins. In this way, the Easy Start kit can ensure maximum success.

How to use the Easy Start Seed Germination Kit

  1. First, measure 1 litre of lukewarm water (approx. 25°C) and dissolve the contents of the Bacto packet (activating bacteria) in it. Wait until the Bacto is completely dissolved. Pour the Bacto mixture into the Easy Start tray.
  2. Drop a seed into each pre-filled hole in the Easy Start pots. Use a pencil, a screwdriver or something sharp to gently push the seeds to a depth of about 5 mm. Cover the seeds with some of the surrounding soil.
  3. Place the Easy Start kit in a warm location, but away from direct sunlight.
  4. It is important to keep the soil moist at all times. Touch the soil regularly to check if it is still moist and carefully spray a little water when needed. Do not allow the soil to dry out.
  5. Your seed will germinate within 3-7 days.
  6. You can germinate your seeds in the dark, but be sure to give your plants low to medium light once they come out of the ground.
  7. Once the plants have reached a height of 2-3 cm, you can transplant them into the containers in which you intend to grow your plants until they mature. To repot, gently slide the seedlings out of their plastic. You don’t need to remove the soil that sticks around the young plants-in fact, avoid doing so, as this can damage the delicate roots. Just pour it all into whatever growing medium you use and your cannabis plants are ready!
