Seaweed RQS

Seaweed: a stimulant

Although algae grow in a very different environment from hemp plants, they still play an integral role in natural gardening practices. These aquatic plants are packed with essential minerals and vitamins that help cannabis plants thrive. The algae take average, ordinary plants and turn them into thriving specimens that meet their ultimate genetic destiny – fat, resinous buds and all.

Seaweed & Kelp: powerful nutrients for hemp plants

The seaweed product harnesses the power of three types of seaweed, one of which belongs to the seaweed category. But why use seaweed for cannabis? Home growers and large-scale organic farming operations use them as biostimulants to protect plants from stress, improve crop quality and boost nutritional efficiency. Unlike synthetic fertilizers, seaweed does not contain salt-based nutrients, which can harm beneficial microorganisms and disrupt the nutrient cycle in the soil. Instead, it serves as a food source in the soil food web; microbes gradually break it down and release compounds that are available to plants. In the flowering stage, algae also provide nutrients that allow plants to form bulbous buds coated with hairs and resin containing cannabinoids.
